Elizabeth and Joshua got married the day before the lights went out across Texas. To get to the wedding, Chris and I got to penguin walk across our gravel driveway and ice pick our way into the back hatch of the car to load our gear. Slow and steady, we — along with others who love them — made our way to the beautiful Silo & Oak in Temple, Texas. The day was breathtaking — all of it. The decor, the venue… but most of all Elizabeth and Joshua. As they visited with their guests at the reception, they kept finding each other’s hand on the dance floor. I can still see Elizabeth’s hair flying as Joshua twirled her around on the dance floor. What a beautiful day!
