I’ve known Dakota for years and years, 15 of ’em probably. I remember when she was an elementary student, showing hogs at the county fair. She was quiet, gentle… but skillful and determined, talented and able.
My mind holds her there– even though I’d run into her every now and then, she’s always been 10 in my mind. And now she’s graduating from Texas A&M.
She’s such an elegant beauty— that’s what I kept thinking as we enjoyed a Friday evening walking through fields and picking cotton. Her smile is the best, the way it wrinkles her nose. It’s genuine. She is authentic in every way. Her cheekbones truly catch the sunlight like I’ve never seen. There’s just no other word that fits as well as precious. She is a precious woman.
And I’m so glad I know you.
Go get ’em, Dakota!
