I’m writing you this note o’ celebration with my windows open and mug of hot tea on my desk. Spearmint lavender. Delightful.

The farmer next door has been tilling saturating the air with the sweet scent of earth. It’s been getting darker earlier and earlier.

I can feel it. The season of holidays is coming.

Ooooh, dear friends. I know, I know. It’s still September, but, you know it as well as I. As soon as we turn the calendar’s page to October, it’ll be Christmas before we know it.

Speaking of, last year’s Christmas was just a little bonkers for us. We lived too fast and tried to do too much. This year, we’re calming things down to allow time that’s needed to love each other — including YOU! — well. Last year’s Christmas minis were such a blessing to my heart! I loved loved love LOVED the opportunity to see old friends and meet new ones! And I can’t tell you what it does to my insides to know that I have the honor of capturing memories for you.

So, yes, we’re going to slow down the Christmas season, but could never not have Christmas minis!

Oct. 22. You in?

Here are the details: We spend 20-30 min. together at a location (Location will be announced via email as the date gets closer–it will be either in Troy or Temple). Laugh, play & have the best Saturday. And you get your digital files for $125 plus a little tax. We have super limited spots available (so please get with me soon to get your choice of time!)

• high school seniors who don’t necessarily want a full photo shoot but still want to commemorate this special time
