“Hey, I have something to tell you that’s a secret,” whispered Kelsey.

I had that feeling in my gut that I knew what she was about to say. It was really really really good news.

“We’re having a baby,” she breathed.

We were at church and people were everywhere. It took near everything I had not to shout “WAHHOOOOOO!” They were having a baby! She and her husband, Eric, were parents, even then, as that little babe was nestled unseen in the dark. And, already, she was a wonderful mother. And, already, he was a wonderful father. These days are sweet. What a treat to be part of their celebration!
